SBI PMU Extension Support in Linux Kernel
Dan Mangum
Hey folks,
I have been following along with the addition of the addition of the Performance Monitoring Unit Extension that was added to SBI in v0.3. I noticed that it has not been implemented in the RISC-V Linux kernel upstream yet and I was wondering if there was an ongoing effort to do so? If there is opportunity for contributing to that effort I would love to get involved. If I am looking in the wrong places for where this would be implemented, or if there are references where I could answer my own questions please feel free to redirect me to those sources and I will happily dive in.
Thanks!
Dan

Patches have been posted: https://lore.kernel.org/linux-riscv/20210910192757.2309100-1-atish.patra@.../
Would recommend joining the linux-riscv@ list if you want to get
involved with the kernel
